As a film production student, Hannah's senior year was spent working on a capstone project. The capstone project is a ten minute short film that students independently produce. This is a year long project in which the first semester is dedicated solely to pre-production (script and story development, script workshopping, budget planning, etc.) and the second semester to production and post. Hannah completed the first draft of Consolation in October 2022, with its finalized version coming to fruition in January 2023. Filming took place at the end of January until mid-February. After that, she divided her time on the film between editing and distribution preparation. Students were tasked with compiling industry-standard press-kits, one-sheets, and more.
